Our baby has grown to the size of a squash and could breathe on her own if she were born today thanks to the surfactant that her lungs are making this week. The doctor visit last week confirmed that everything is going to plan and she's on target for average size. I like that. All of my blood tests are normal and I'm feeling well so the doctor couldn't be happier.
Brian and I start our birthing classes today so we'll see what that brings. I'm just glad we're doing it now because one of my friends' baby came early so she missed the last class - the one where they talk about C sections. Ironically, she ended up having a C section. Anywho, if any funny stories come out of class I'll tell you on here.
Last weekend, I had my first baby shower with my high school friends, the Johnson family and the Stensaas family. It was a blast even though the trip out to Evansville got a little hairy at times thanks to the snow. Thank you to everyone again! Here are some photos from the day:
